About the Hotel

20 Circular St, Saratoga Springs, New York, United States of America, 12866

The 3-star Batcheller Mansion Inn exhibits French Renaissance, Italian, and Egyptian architectural influences in downtown Saratoga Springs opposite Congress Park. This High Victorian Gothic mansion features intricately carved European woodwork, hand-carved marble fireplaces, and original 1800s Batcheller family furnishings.

Historic Victorian Accommodations

Queen Maria Pia room at Batcheller Mansion features a king bed under a crown canopy of blue cameo jacquard and white lace. The mansard roof lines accent period furnishings including an armoire, chaise lounge, and winged-back reading chair, all illuminated by a sparkling chandelier.

Signature Dining Experience

The formal dining room showcases a stunning table for ten with Batcheller signature chargers, crystal, and china. Four additional two-person tables allow simultaneous breakfast service for eighteen guests.

Historic Outdoor Spaces

Two spacious covered porches and an uncovered backyard deck provide varied perspectives - the parlor porch catches morning sun along Whitney Street, while the library porch offers shade until dusk. An authentic Victorian setting with Batcheller heirloom chairs creates intimate gathering spaces.

Central Downtown Location

The Batcheller Mansion Inn sits 1.5 miles from Saratoga Springs Amtrak and 28 miles from Albany International Airport. The property is within walking distance to the Saratoga Performing Arts Center, museums, historic mineral bathhouses, and downtown dining.

I had a truly nice stay at Batcheller Mansion Inn, where the history and charm of the place created a unique atmosphere. The inn itself was stunning, filled with original antique furnishings and beautiful woodwork. My only minor hurdle was that, during my stay, breakfast did not offer the acclaimed French toast due to the small number of guests. Overall, it was still a fantastic experience in a lovely setting, perfect for a romantic getaway or a relaxing retreat.

I had a wonderful stay at the Batcheller Mansion Inn, with its magnificent old-world charm and stunning architectural features. The location was perfect, allowing easy walks to downtown and nearby Congress Park. However, I did encounter some challenges with the dining experience, as breakfast orders needed to be placed the night before and were somewhat limited.
